Fall TV Shows to Watch.

  • DOLLHOUSE!!!!!! -Watch it. Convert or be wiped. Because it's so kickass, and it's a Joss Whedon show.

"They can be anyone you want.

"The Dollhouse is a very secret, and very illegal, place where wishes come true. Clients with the right connections and enough money can hire "Actives", people who have been programmed to perfectly fulfill the needs, and desires of their clients. The Actives are people who have chosen, for their own reasons, to surrender their bodies and minds for a five-year stay in the Dollhouse. Now they can be imprinted with any personality, skill, or even muscle memory. They can be the perfect companion, lover, spy, assassin; and when the job is done they forget everything. But something is wrong with the Active called "Echo". No longer just a blank slate waiting for her next assignment, Echo is remembering flashes of the lives that she has lived and the games she has played, and she is starting to wonder just who she really is..." • Glee: It's High School Musical. With sarcasm and better lines. And better music.

"A one-hour musical comedy that follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of all: Nationals. Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison, Broadway's "Hairspray"), a young optimistic teacher, has offered to take on the Herculean task of restoring McKinley's Glee Club to its former glory. Driven by his secret past, Will is determined to do whatever it takes to make Glee great again, even though everyone around him thinks he's nuts. He's out to prove them all wrong." (-hulu.com)

  • Merlin: Season 2 is coming in Britain, people. The show is magical (snickers -that was so freakin' corny I can't believe I typed that).

"The adventures of the legendary sorcerer as a young man." (-IMDB) Plot is very point-blank, don't hurt yourself thinking about it. It's their spin on the Arthurian legends, savvy? Think Smallville. Except better.

  • True Blood: Because it's vampires. And vamps are cool. And hot :P And this show is plain hot and sexy. And the vampires don't sparkle. No matter how much I like Twilight -VAMPIRES. DON'T. SPARKLE. (But in Twilight-verse it's okay, and I would imagine they looked sexy as hell...)

"It is loosely based on the The Southern Vampire Mysteries (2001) series of novels by Charlaine Harris. Following the creation of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is a telepath and waitress at Merlotte's in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, owned by Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), a shapeshifter—though this secret is kept hidden. One night, Sookie meets Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old vampire who has returned to Bon Temps following the death of his last remaining relative. As she cannot hear his thoughts, she finds it easy to be in his company and over the first season, the two become romantically involved." (-Wikipedia)

  • The Vampire Diaries: Yes, another vampire show. But this was waaaay before Twilight and True Blood. 15 years before Twilight, 10 years before True Blood. The books series (which I heart so much and will be so freakin' happy if the show is like the books) was published in 1991, with romance but not mushy, action, plot, and humans aren't shoved to the side.

"The Vampire Diaries is an upcoming TV drama filmed in Vancouver, BC, Canada, based on the book series of the same name by L.J. Smith. The plot revolves around Elena Gilbert, a young heroine who is the object of passion for two vampire brothers—one good, one evil—who are at war for her soul and for the souls of her friends, family and all the residents of the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia."
